About Neil Hocking

I am an experienced archetypal astrologer and dream worker. In November 2009 I was invited to provide a monthly astrological feature on the Breakfast Show on Magic 999, a radio station broadcasting to about 50,000 listeners a week in the UK.

I am a self-employed writer, qualified tarot reader and crystal healer. I am not mediumistic and can rarely rely on clairvoyance, my services being informed by my developed intuition and archetypal sensitivity.

I am a pantheist, meaning I believe the whole of creation is fundamentally one; matter and consciousness being qualitatively different aspects of one essence which I tend to refer to as the Universe. My understanding of the Universe is of something which is fundamentally alive and is akin to some people’s concept of God or spirit.

I was born and grew up in Cornwall with Cornish parents and at least some Irish ancestry. As a result of my background and my numinous experiences I have chosen to follow the path of Celtic shamanism, meaning I use shamanic techniques to enter into a relationship with spiritual forces for the purpose of achieving wisdom and healing for myself and others

Earthpulse UK was created by Neil Hocking to provide information, services and healing. Although focused predominately in the pagan and new age sector, Earthpulse UK invites all who want to benefit from the services provided or to discuss their beliefs in a spirit of non-violence.

    I too use the general concept of ‘ Universe’ rather than specializing – but I am a big picture person rather than focusing on minutiae.

    I look forward to learning about your beliefs and experiences too. As an astrologer I find that the big picture v minutiae relationship lies along the Pisces/Virgo axis with the ideal position being in the centre.

    I read tarots and am an astrologer. I am in my sixties and learned much of my skills as a child from my family. I am on the cusp. I am Aquarius just 13 minutes from the Pisces cusp. I have Scorpio rising and Venus also in Pisces. Mercury in Aquarius. I am almost all Air and Water.

    Neil, I just took your quiz on FB and I found it interesting. The quiz told me what I was expecting. I consider myself Pagan in general, leaning toward Wiccan. The quiz put me as a Wiccan. I was just curious… what other answers are there on your FB quiz. I would be interested in learning more about the other practices that you have listed under the Pagan heading. Thank you for the quiz and thank you for wording the introduction so that the non-Pagan people of the World might understand us a little better.

    Yes, we moved late September and are now in Torquay. I pop up north every month for my astrology slot on Magic 999 in Preston though.

    I’m scaling down Tarot readings and focusing more on Astrology at the moment.
